Brahman Lounge and Liquors

The Brahman has been family owned for 45 years. Art and Marie Knoeller purchased the Brahman April 15, 1973. The package store was just the office portion in those days. In 1986 the larger package store was added.

For those of us in the family who have grown up during those 45 years the Brahman is the backdrop to a million happy memories. Coming in to roll change, price bottles, and stock.

Family businesses represent the American dream to the fullest extent. Art Knoeller had an 8th grade education and with the help of Marie was able to save the money to buy the Brahman.

After the death of Marie and then Art, two of their daughters, Linda and Christine took over. The store, it’s staff and products, represent the culture of the area; we have many employees that are bi-lingual and all live close to the store and know many people in the community who shop with us.
